Priyanka Saha is a consultant psychologist and psychiatric counsellor. She has completed her graduation in pure Psychology and her post graduation with  specialisation in clinical psychology from the University of Calcutta. Following which she completed her internship from the R.G.Kar Medical College and Hospital and further carried on with her research work with institutionalised children of west bengal. 

Priyanka has acquired her professional micro skills in Psychiatric counselling through her  years of practising psychoanalysis and various psychodynamic approaches. She also has years of practice of holistic approach in her clinical work with her clients. Ms. Saha is engaged in Government health services and is also a faculty member/resource person of IPS (Indian Psychoanalytical Society) a well-recognised institution where she delivers the responsibility of training other counsellors. She is also associated with Tata Institute of Social Sciences as a trainer / capacity builder. 

Priyanka’s special area of interest is clinical psychology, neuropsychology and Psychiatric illness, along with psychotherapy and other forms of psychological interventions. She focuses on need based psychological counselling and delivers with complete dedication in order to help her clients achieve goals in treatment. Priyanka strives to help her clients be “saksham” (self-reliant) in living a fulfilling life satisfactorily. 

Her skills in everyday practice includes active listening, enormous level of patience, spontaneity of communication with clients sharing their life incidents, and most importantly empathy and confidentiality are her strongest attributes as a counsellor. She is thoroughly dedicated, positively forthcoming and enthusiastic of seeking the best for her clients. 

Priyanka’s forte is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy ( CBT) in both individual and group setting, Mindfulness based therapy, counselling for Stress and Anxiety, Psychotherapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), family therapy, therapy for adolescents and children and Academic and Career counselling.
